Title: Metal Spinning Operator

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday)

Salary: $20.00 – $25/hr

(Dependent on experience; higher range for skilled spinners), plus 401(k) match and benefits

Metal Spinning Operator Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to learn and master the niche trade of metal spinning to support long-term production needs. This position plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by transforming metal discs into specific shapes through a hands-on apprenticeship model, eventually managing an independent production cell out their Toledo, OH location.

Metal Spinning Operator Responsibilities:

• Train under an experienced spinner to learn the trade and techniques
• Operate metal spinning machinery and related equipment
• Perform machine setups and contour different parts
• Trim parts to ensure distinct specifications are met
• Manage and run a standalone production cell once trained
• Adhere to all safety protocols and facility procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules

Metal Spinning Operator Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the Plant Manager or Department Supervisor and works alongside a team of approximately six to seven other operators.

About You:

• Possess strong mechanical aptitude or a mechanical background
• Demonstrate previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Show willingness to commit to a long-term learning process
• Hold experience with CNC machining or metal forming (preferred)
• Display reliability and a desire for long-term career growth
• Exhibit the ability to perform physically demanding manual labor
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
