OPENING: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
LOCATION: ONTARIO, CA
DURATION: 6 MONTHS
JOB DESCRIPTION
- This position's major areas of responsibly consist of month end duties and helping out in the department:
- Process SC RA's
- Process pricing/commodity credits and rebills from Bid Pricing Department
- Respond to AR customer emails requesting information or copies of invoices/credit memos.
- AP Non-Product Vendor setup
- Email LAUSD Customer Statement
- Clear in house invoices/ requesting back up from Customer Service/Purchasing
- Review/clear open RA report
- Clear/Post approved PO Received not Invoiced <6 months
- Enter Journal Entries
- Assist Invoice Control sorting/filing Customer invoices
- Assist AR/AP/Staff Accountant as needed
- Daily Deposit
- Create Monthend close binders
- Prepaid File Updates
- Academic, Experience & Technical Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience and knowledge in General Accounting
- Knowledge of excel (basic to intermediate)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
