JOB DESCRIPTION:
THIS POSITION: Manages the E-rate program including annual applications, administrative duties and providing expertise to internal teams and Customers. Completes responsibilities in resourceful and effective ways independently as a skilled specialist. Manages assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative and at times provides consultation or direction to team members. Understand implications of work and makes recommendations for implementing solutions. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Serves as a company resource and liaison for client communications for the E-rate annual funding cycle • Maintains client base through 5 phases of the E-rate annual filing process. • Prepares, tracks, and maintains documents in preparation of regulatory filings • Contacts clients by phone and email to complete information needed for all 5 phases as directed • Records all communication and follow up data entry for each client in in local data bases. • Responds to client account inquiries • Administers regulatory filings, including review, vet and submission • Assists in all aspects of regulatory filings from initial applicant onboarding to applicant reimbursement • Develops processes for continuous improvement and monitors for success • Provide support to functions as needed • Perform other duties and projects as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or GED required plus 2-3 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Proficiency with data processing software and using multiple databases at the same time • Strong attention to detail while having the ability to manage multiple responsibilities • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills • Ability to effectively handle complex questions and issues independently • Flexible and cooperative; ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail • Advanced organizational skills necessary to efficiently prioritize and complete a variety of tasks
