Life-science methodology is more tedious, laborious, and error-prone than it needs to be. This makes research and healthcare slower, more expensive, and less reliable, even for what should be simple tests and therapies! Methid is changing the way biology and medical research are done, right at the edge of bits and atoms. We make life-science research and diagnostic medicine better, faster, and cheaper.

We are searching for a full-time Software Engineer to be part of the team and work on automating life science methodology.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Ship quality, well-tested code on a modern technology stack
• Design and build production-grade laboratory automation solutions
• Work with other engineers to build integrated solution
• Develop as an engineer while building something great for science!

YOU'LL NEED

• Experience as a Software Engineer writing production-quality code in Python
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

BONUS

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
• Experience with C/C++ and/or Javascript/React
• Experience with containerization and service architectures
• Experience with video and machine vision systems
• Experience with scientific computing or laboratory automation
