Position Overview Reporting into the Manager- Corporate Finance) of Metrea Management, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for: 1. Support financial planning for the enterprise, inclusive of the enterprise's Business Plan (BP) development, revision, and refresh cycles, annual Financial Plan (FP/budget) preparation and continuous updating, and quarterly reforecasting activities. 2. In conjunction with the FIN/Controlling team, ensure the FIN/FP&A team remains committed to the continuous improvement of its planning processes, tools, and systems. Proactively manage data input sources and continuous ERP development, data outputs via the right business intelligence (BI) software, and data processing that leverages robust forecasting models and processes. 3. Support monthly, quarterly, and board reporting packs with strategically informative analyses like causal variance (look-back), sensitivities (look-forward), and other analytical tools that can best support key business decisions. 4. Develop robust contingency planning processes with the requisite implementation considerations and support a consistently pro-active approach to financial management across the enterprise. 5. Provide financial guidance and mentorship to Business Unit leaders and develop a FIN/Partnering approach that can provide Metrea's BUs with the financial acumen and necessary tools and frameworks to support day-to-day decision-making and business planning. 6. Support the capability development of budgets & rates, contract structuring & contract economics to support government recharging allowability and enhance operational finance acumen within Business Units 7. Develop and manage a dynamic Sources & Uses model that is linked to Metrea's forecasting models and develop courses of action for potentially new requirements as well as take any necessary pro-active mitigation steps. 8. Lead the preparation of MAM board packs, ensuring that the material prepared aids the discussion and any decisions around the items set in the agenda. 9 Work closely with the STRAT/Investment team to support potential investment assessments, where these involve strategic acquisitions and due diligence of target companies' financials, as well as the assessment of their respective finance functions. 10. Provide the STRAT/Communications team with the right information to support Metrea's continuing outreach to the financial community as well as with the necessary knowledge of the audience, the information cadence, format, and tone, as well as any other particular requirements that can best support communicating with Metrea's financial stakeholders. 11. Assist OPS/Human Resource (HR) with personnel costing, budgeting, as well as in the financial elements of reporting. Provide Finance SMEs for relevant training events and help build on the collective team's financial 12. Work closely with the OPS/Platform Technology team to inform the design, implementation and further development of Project Abacus (ERP) and to support FIN's growing system needs. 13. Provide LEG/Compliance with the financial inputs that are required to perform all necessary compliance functions and ensure that Metrea's compliance policies cover all known requirements from our financial stakeholders (shareholders, lenders, agencies, etc.) 14. Support the preparation, dissemination, and discussion of periodic financial reports, and financial statements, and lead with recommendations to the CEO, CFO and the Executive team as regards courses of action and related initiatives. Design and manage the implementation of comprehensive data capture, processing, analysis, synthesis and dissemination workflows that result in accurate and reliable financial information. Review and understand the FIN/Controlling team's accuracy, timeliness, and compliance for all month-end closing activities, including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation. Knowledge, skills, experience & traits required * 3 + years' experience in a complimentary field, preferably within the aerospace, defence, security and/or government contracting space * Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business accounting, finance; CPA qualification a plus * Experience in a large, multi-busines
