  • Responsibilities

    Under direct supervision and following standard procedures, investigates, evaluates and resolves/disposes of auto property damage claims to determine the extent of company liability; may include determination and evaluation of coverage, compensability, liability and damage in accordance with policy provisions by performing the following duties.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Follows corporate policies, procedures, and fair claims handling practices

    2. Investigates claims to determine validity and extent of liability, including:

    a. Obtains information necessary to properly investigate and evaluate each case by corresponding with agents, insureds, claimants, witnesses and others
    b. Reviews and evaluates documentation, including applications, reports, and statements
    c. Monitors appropriate claim outcomes through self-audit process
    d. Delivers superior customer service to policyholders and agents, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of claims service issues
    e. Ensures legal, regulatory and fair claims handling compliance

    3. Sets or recommends reserves based on results of claim investigation.

    4. Within defined authority, manages, evaluates and concludes claims. Prepares and maintains claim reports.

    5. May provide interaction with insureds, agents, claimants, attorneys, and other service providers, including:

    a. Conducts in-depth interviews and/or scene inspections
    b. Attends settlement conferences and/or trials

    6. May serve as a member of project teams, contributing to the achievement of project objectives.

    7. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training.

    • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

    • Lead and manage the members of the Program / Project Management Team in daily support of the execution of delivery of our software & services portfolio to our customers.
    • Conduct periodic performance reviews of the project management staff and provide real time feedback with examples.
    • Coaches, trains, and mentosr less exerienced project managers and those requiring additional training in the use of consistent methodologies to manage programs.                                                       
    • Successfully lead teams that include direct and indirect reports in simultaneous complex projects under tight timelines.
    • Plan, execute, and manage the activities of the team and indirect support resources to produce deliverables according to contract / customer requirements.
    • Ensures compliance with existing PM processes to ensure consistent project management methodologies.                                     
    • Lead development of delivery SOWs and provide support /expertise for RFP responses for new business Respond to escalated issues from the team of Project Managers.
    • Manage and oversee project portfolio around the boundaries of scope, schedule, and cost.                                                       
    • Display strong leadership skills and serves as a critical member of the L+G software delivery management team.
    • Designs, develops, and maintains reports, metrics and other documentation to support software & services delivery reporting across the company, including executive management team.       
    • Responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting progress of the software and services projects including, but not limited to, governance, issues and risks, KPIs, milestons, financial health, and budget.
    • Report on individual project status' to executive level as requested.
    • Manage and develop project/program metrics, KPIs, and trends for executive management.
