Dallas TX Business Territory Development Manager
Location: Dallas Texas
Reports to: Director of Sales
Supervises: No direct staff
FLSA Status: Competitive Commission Structure
JOB SUMMARY:
This position requires self-motivation with excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, and the strength to cultivate new and existing relationships through trust, differentiation, and customer service. Through a consultative sales approach, you will offer services and recommendations that meets the needs of your customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Create new account opportunities through your sales and networking efforts.
· Attend 1-2 networking events per month throughout the community
· Prospect potential customers through persistent contact efforts through phone calls, emails, and in person follow ups
· Maintains current and accurate records of prospect contacts
· Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
· Conducts sales presentations with prospects resulting in contracts.
· Prepare bid sheets and develop contract proposals
· Target higher frequency accounts based on your recommendations for highest quality of service.
· Negotiate contract terms with prospects.
· Close bids and estimates and distribute necessary closing documents to assigned personnel.
· Generate summary of account you closed to be sent to office team (New Account Start Email)
· Education of product knowledge, cleaning industry topics, market, and competitive data.
· Track and report on the status of proposal components
· Prepare and submit sales record keeping including Weekly Sales Scorecard, Daily Reports, and maintain updated Proposal Log. Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to optimize the sales process and provide excellent customer service.
