INSIDE SALES/ CUSTOMER SERVICE

Metro Roofing & Metal Supply – Nashville, TN

Summary: Processes orders for materials and custom fabrications received by mail, telephone, or personally from customers and contractors. Provides quotes and product information, and handles special orders and advanced pricing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups, and providing customer follow-ups.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and to assist in overall sales goals for the metal division.
• Create accurate and complete work orders and sales tickets.
• Writes and types work orders and sales orders using paper and computer.
• Determines if inventory is adequate for orders and informs customers as well as Purchasing Manager of inventory needs.
• Resolves customer issues and reports to appropriate manager any issues.
• Establishes relationships with customers and informs them of materials and services they can provide.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, Associates Degree in business related major preferred. Customer Service experience. Knowledge of the roofing or metal roofing industry a plus.

Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite
