  • Responsibilities

     

    Learn to perform field preventative/routine maintenance, installation, calibration, and emergency services for new

     

    or existing clients on low/medium/high voltage power systems across a variety of industries on Point Eight Power

     

    custom equipment or other existing distribution apparatus in order to gain proficiency and learn Point Eight Power

     

    Standards.

     

     Learn to troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, repair, and service proprietary and competitor generator components to

    include breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, and battery systems under the supervision of

    senior members of the Field Service team.

     Increase technical knowledge of trouble shooting, root cause analysis, electrical control maintenance standards,

    low/medium/high voltage and arc resistant theory, and on‐site field estimation.

     Shadow senior service technicians in order to gain knowledge on properly offering accurate resolutions and

    maintenance education for clients through successful technical support in intense, high‐level risk or security

    environments.

     Gain knowledge of process to promote cost reductions, drive accurate maintenance and service estimations, and

    increase part sales by consulting with senior Field Service Technicians, Technical Assistants, and other related team members

     

    Required Skills

     

    Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle record within the past 7 years, required.

     Must be willing and able to travel to locations outside of the United States

     Ability to obtain Passport, and TWIC Card

     Must be able to successfully pass HUET, H2S, and Sae Gulf Training

     

     

    Required Experience

     

    2 years of experience working with Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Motor Control Centers, Turbine and

     

    Generators, preferred.

     

     Previous experience in oil and gas, energy, marine, industrial, commercial heavy equipment industries, or

    military experience, preferred.

     

  • Qualifications

     

    Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle record within the past 7 years, required.

     Must be willing and able to travel to locations outside of the United States

     Ability to obtain Passport, and TWIC Card
