Job Summary

Metro Welding Supply is looking for a full-time CDL-A driver to deliver welding and medical gases in Michigan and northern Ohio. We are looking for a self-motivated and detailed oriented person for a physically demanding job. Our CDL Class A Gas Cylinder Handlers average 8-10 hours per day, home daily with no weekends. You must have a clean motor vehicle report. Metro Welding Supply offers competitive wages, full benefits, and 401k.

CDL Class A Gas Cylinder Handler Responsibilities:

1 Year of delivery driving experience required.

Follow route and schedule.

Load, unload, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs.

CDL Class A Gas Cylinder Handler Qualifications:

Current CDL A.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to work independently.

Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors.

Hazmat endorsement.
