    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Metroll US is in need of an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to play a pivotal role as a key member of the management team.  This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, commercially savvy self-starter to join a fast-paced and growing company as we strategically take our business to the next level.  This position requires a candidate who is willing to roll-up his/her sleeves to tackle a range of financial activities from day-to-day accounting to high-level strategic business decisions.  

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    •    Leading the month-end process and preparation of financial and management reports; 

    •        Accounts receivable, including monitoring and managing customer credit lines;

    •        Stock control;

    •        Cash flow management and reconciliations;

    •        Development and maintenance of internal controls;

    • Participation in strategic business planning;

    • Accounts payables and vendor management;

    • Performing monthly and quarterly sales tax filings;

    • Working with outside CPA to prepare financial statements and tax returns.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    •        Ability to interpret and analyze financial information to make formal recommendations to senior management;

    •        Have demonstrated business acumen with proven ability to identify trends, opportunities and make recommendations for improvement;

    •        Strong analytical skills including an inquisitive approach in tackling projects;

    •        Dedication to continuous improvement;

    •        Ability to implement, analyze and adjust systems and procedures;

    •        Strong ability in prioritizing multiple tasks;

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field; CPA and/or Master's an advantage but not essential

    • Relevant accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector with a strong understanding of ERP systems and associated processes
