Commercial Construction Manager Metrolube Companies, the third largest franchisee for Valvoline Instant Oil Change is looking for a proven Construction Professional who will have responsibility for all construction projects from start to finish. The position will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Marlboro MA reporting directly to the CEO. Responsibilities - Taken ownership of all pre-construction activities including site visits and preliminary budget estimations. - Work closely with the store design team to review projects are they become available and partner with them to ensure accuracy and consistency of construction documents. - Source vendors and bid process as well as handle all negotiations with outside GCs. - Create and drive all project schedules to ensure timely execution while holding vendors accountable. - Manage job sites for new construction and remodeling projects. - Manage budget for each project, including supplies, materials, and labor. - Lead weekly project status calls with general contractors, design, and procurement to ensure all milestones are met. Qualifications - 5+ years in new construction/construction management. - Experience with construction site management and estimates. - Ability to manage multiple projects at once with no decline in quality control. - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, project management platforms, document management applications, scheduling software, and standard AIA forms. - Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and own an automobile and live within 50 miles of the Marlboro MA office. - Traveling between construction sites and office is required.
