    Metropolis Resort is currently accepting applications for our Banquet Chef position! Essential in back-of-house operations, Metropolis Resort Banquet Chefs are vital to our Food & Beverage department's success. The Banquet Chef position offers excellent opportunity to advance into other departments.

    The daily outlook for a Banquet Chef changes based on the type of event(s) are being held that day. One of the benefits of this position is that no two days are the same! During downtime Banquet Chefs are entrusted to help maintain cleanliness of the banquet kitchen, prepare for upcoming events, and complete other duties assigned by Management.

    Duties within Metropolis Resort for a Banquet Server may include but are not limited to:

    Food service

    Maintaining cleanliness in banquet kitchens

    Banquet and event room set up

    Dish washing

    Completing any special projects given by the manager on duty

    Following the opening and closing lists for each area

    Cross training in other departments and areas

    The ideal candidate should be willing and able to work in a fast paced, fun, kitchen environment. Our Banquet Chefs need to be able to work both solo or in pairs during food preparation and should be excellent communicators. Many of our chefs have been trained in-house or have previous fast food experience. Candidates should also feel comfortable in delivery and enforcement of safety rules, company policies, and health regulations.

    This position is currently part-time with opportunities for full-time if candidate is willing to cross-train into other kitchens.

    Pay based on experience.
