    Under the supervision and direction of the MHS Manager or Team Lead, the Internal Ambassador is responsible for welcoming guests to and/or from the hospital in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. They are also responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Greets every guest entering the hospital and before departure of a facility.
    • Utilizes proper safe patient handling techniques.
    • Personally escorts guests throughout the facility, opens doors, offers wheelchair assistance, guidance, and carries packages and luggage.
    • Responds to guest inquiries and concerns promptly with courtesy.
    • Knowledge of the facility procedures and guest-related information including, facility general information, general event information, taxi/transportation assistance, and airport information.
    • Responds to safety hazards according to facility procedures to include: water on floor, objects inadvertently blocking doors, electrical cords removed or taped, and misplaced furniture.
    • Immediately report any accidents to manager on duty.
    • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Maintains safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualification and Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
    • Must pass background and drug screenings.
    • Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
    • Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements.
    • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for customer service and attention to detail.

    Salary: $14.25 per hour
