    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

    Mettacool is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) intern to join our growing team in spring 2020. In this role, you will have a great opportunity to learn, grow, and be challenged as a part of a fast-growing talent development consultancy. In this role, you will do more than just help us sell Mettacool's services. You'll help us share the story of how Mettacool enables women and organizations to thrive by providing holistic talent development solutions that maximizes the female talent pipeline and advances gender equity and inclusion. 

    Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting potential clients, so ambition and cutting-edge sales skills are top priority when looking for the perfect candidate. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects, from the first contact until you qualify the opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for Mettacool's outbound sales strategy and execution, using email, phone, and social media campaigns to secure qualified meetings for Mettacool and increase revenue pipeline. This role will be instrumental in increasing our brand's reach in the marketplace. Those looking to gain valuable sales experience are encouraged to apply.  The Business Development Representative is responsible for outbound sales strategy and execution through social media campaigns to secure qualified meetings for Mettacool and increase revenue pipeline. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Find new opportunities via outbound sales campaigns (email/call/social media, etc.)
    • Work in coordination with Mettacool leadership and field sales account executives to target high-value prospects
    • Gather prospects needs and initiatives as they relate to our solutions
    • Participate in the development of account relationships, prospect profiling, sales programs and sales cycles
    • Sell tickets and corporate sponsorships for Mettacool customer-facing marketing events
    • Research strategic and enterprise accounts and customize business development outreach accordingly 
    • Leverage Hubspot CRM platform to track outbound business development activities and pipeline 
    • Analyze analytics to gauge the success of outbound sales campaigns

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and current involvement in a sales program
    • Ability to work ~5 hours a week while in school, with the ability to contribute more hours during the summer
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Creative mindset and an entrepreneurial attitude
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Calling experience preferred
    • Ambition to grow and build a career in sales
