    FULL AND PART-TIME POSITIONS, MONDAY - FRIDAY WITH A SPLIT SHIFT

    Required Skills

    • Safely transport residents to and from activities, errands and personal appointments.
    • Assists ambulatory and wheelchair-bound individuals in entering and exiting the vehicle
    • Ensures no passengers are left in the vehicle when route has been completed
    • Maintain pre-trip logs and calls in daily to the dispatcher. Conducts post vehicle inspection at end of shift and immediately reports any concerns

    Required Experience

     

    • High school diploma/G.E.D.
    • Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, Class B or C and had license for at least 1 year. Prefer CDL with P endorsement but will train to get CDL within 6 months of employment.
    • Three years of driving experience
    • Experience working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is helpful
    • Must meet requirements for DOT and 19A Certification
    • Good communication skills and basic computer literacy
