We are seeking a dynamic and motivated SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERN in our Chesterfield, Missouri office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Code, test and debug new software using Microsoft technologies – specifically: C#, .NET Framework, WPF, XAML. Some applications use components written in C and C++ with MFC. SQL server used for the data store
- Collaborate with requirements, Software Quality and other development teams to ensure that solutions are efficient, consistent and fulfill business needs.
- Work in an Agile software development environment (using Scrum), participating in daily scrum meetings and monthly retrospective and planning meetings.
- Refactor existing software
- Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
- Attendance during regular work hours.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Ability to interact professionally with others.
- Ability to efficiently communicate, including listening and speaking effectively in groups.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in software development using design patterns, Object Oriented Design, C# and .Net, SQL Database, and C, C++.
- Practical Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following is a plus: Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WF). Experience working with Autodesk software platform: Modeling with AEC objects (using AutoCAD Architectural (ACA / ADT) and/or Autodesk Revit). Cross application import/export of models which contain AEC objects. Autodesk RealDWG object library API’s with AEC object enablers, Autodesk DWF API’s.
