    ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR FOR BIOLOGY 

     

     

    THE SUCCESSFUL BIOLOGY ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR MUST HAVE A MASTER’S DEGREE IN BIOLOGY OR RELATED MASTER’S DEGREE AND AT LEAST 18 GRADUATE CREDIT HOURS IN THE DISCIPLINE TO BE TAUGHT. CTE CLASSES REQUIRE A POSTSECONDARY CTE CREDENTIAL AND THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION MAY VARY BY DISCIPLINE. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TEACHING IN A COMMUNITY COLLEGE SETTING IS PREFERRED.

     

    COURSES TAUGHT MAY INCLUDE COLLEGE BIOLOGY, ANATOMY, AND PHYSIOLOGY.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Proven track record of successful account management and contracting with National and/or Regional Payers.
    • Candidates with current relationships at National and/or Regional payers are strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Commercial and Medicare payer policies, reimbursement process / coverage, Specialty Pharmacies, and the health care legislative environment.
    • Knowledge and expertise in both Medical and Pharmacy benefits is a plus
    • Extensive knowledge of the business of oncology as it relates to “buy and bill” and “in-office dispensing” models is a plus.
    • Ability to analyze/transform data into actionable insights to create and implement strategic plans.
    • Demonstrated ability to make fiscally responsible and decisive decisions that increase Net Revenue.
    • Highly organized, strategic thinker with excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills to all levels of an organization.
