The Marketing Manager for North America Mezzanine Systems Division is responsible to market and promote the company, its brand and products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns utilizing various media. Maintain market strategy in alignment with senior management and develop/execute marketing tactics in support of that, including advertising and promotion; website; sales tools and collateral; plan meetings and trade shows; tracking sales data; maintain databases; prepare reports and presentations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
    • Manage and ensure marketing standards are maintained when setting up and executing campaigns in all areas of marketing for the Mezzanine Division in North America and activities within the marketing department, coordinating with overall Mezzanine Division and MiTek marketing strategies.
    • Successfully develop and deploy marketing campaigns, driving alignment between the Mezzanine Division in North America whilst progressing and maximizing every new opportunity to be in line with overall Mezzanine Division and MiTek marketing strategies and objectives from ideation to execution.
    • Work directly with Leadership Teams and other cross functional groups and teams to help manage new product introductions, assist the business in gathering market research data, and identify new markets for products and/or new product lines for the Mezzanine Division in North America.
    • Identify and measure marketing trends and strategies through data led analysis of marketing activities to maintain understanding of competitor marketing practices including consumer trends to help in educating the sales team in areas where we can best utilize marketing of marketing campaigns and activities to gain insight and assess against goals.
    • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
    • Supervise the creative content team including designer(s), copywriter(s), proofreader/technical writer(s) for internal and external marketing and communication deliverable.
    • Provide creative direction and oversee creative approval for all marketing campaigns & promotional assets
    • Establish, develop, and maintain creative, conceptual, and written standards
    • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
    • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
    • Develop and deliver insightful presentations and strategies to the Leadership Teams where appropriate.
    • Overall responsibility for brand management and Division identity, establishing key performance indicators for success; Take responsibility for brand management throughout product life-cycle; Ensuring all creative executions are consistent with brand
    • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
    • Direct the development of promotional and presentation materials including a library of PowerPoint slides, project case studies, collateral and print copies for specific market, territory and customer requirements, etc. in order to strengthen the sales process and obtain additional project leads
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
    • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
    • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copy-writing, performance analysis

    Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Marketing and/or Communications

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ year's marketing management experience preferred.
    • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
    • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
    • Proven ability to deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
    • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools.

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    • Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and ERP software knowledge
    • Graphics editing software such as Adobe Suite.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Dynamic interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, CD
    • sales group, co-workers, consultants and vendors
    • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
    • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
