  • Responsibilities

    Leverage domain expertise in radar engineering to lead a team of various engineering disciplines in the definition, design and test of complex radar systems. Background in radar signal processing with a demonstrated history of success working in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.

    • Lead and coordinate the development of Overall System architecture. Performance Analysis using tools such as Matlab, System Design and Interface Documentation, lead staff design reviews insuring that disciplines meet system requirements, Generation of Test and Integration methodology and documentation, Customer Interface, and Laboratory/Field Testing.

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Staff Engineer (20 years+)

    • Expertise in radar signal processing, radar algorithms, Matlab, C++, real-time software, data analysis and modeling and simulation

    • Documented expertise on Active Electronically Scanned Arrays technology and design.

    • Functional knowledge of radar system elements (i.e. antennas, receivers, transmitters, and   processors) is required.

    • Possess knowledge outside the radar subsystem that allows for platform level recommendations to the prime(s);

    • Possesses wide breadth of knowledge of radar hardware including knowledge of how it impacts the overall radar performance;

    • Ability to form team consensus on design choices and execution plans;

    • Able to debug system performance issues in stressing customer environments;

    • Instrumental in customers achieving mission success as a result optimized radar usage and platform parameters provided;

    Required Skills

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromagnetics ; PhD preferred.

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 20 years experience with planning and conducting research and development of advanced microwave antenna, radiating systems and Transmit/Receive Module designs for dense packaging

    OTHER:

    • Strong analytic and organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Must have a background suitable to obtain a Security Clearance required.
