  • Responsibilities

    Comply with and enforce Company’s QHES Policies and Procedures and actively participate in all relevant Company programs during the execution of his functions.

    Comply with directives, plans, procedures, guidelines, legal requirements and other adopted Company commitments with regards to Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE).

    Participate actively in any QHSE activity required as part of the assigned duties and in general, in any other initiative implemented by the Company to improve QHSE performance.

    Promote compliance with QHSE standards and guidelines at work, including any work engaging contractors, suppliers and customers.

    Perform routine and specialized Mechanical tasks independently on all types of LNG mechanical equipment in accordance with job assignment provided by immediate supervisor, ensuring that all Job Safety Analyses and Permit to Work requirements are met. Act as a team leader on specific jobs.

    Compliance with Hunt LNG’s Competencies Unit1 to UnitC8 according the Mechanical Technician’ Career Path.

    Visually observe mechanical, electrical and instrument equipment health/condition, in every possible opportunity, and promptly notify of anomalies detected to immediate supervisor in order to take appropriate corrective action.

    Provide timely and adequate level of detail feedback when filling out work orders upon completion of executed works, ensuring that proper failure and remedy codes are used to allow useful processing of this information

    Ensure that warehouse stock materials have assigned reorder parameters to ensure replenishment for future needs, and if any deficiencies are detected, immediately inform the direct supervisor to take the necessary corrective action and ensure correct materials and tools are utilized and surplus materials are returned to warehouse stock.

    Suggest/propose to immediate supervisor, measures to improve efficiency in the execution of his assigned work, activities or processes related to other areas or disciplines. Prepare Maintenance work procedures as requested by supervisor.

    Provide leadership and training to less experienced workers and/or trainees.

    Closely coordinate with other discipline workers the execution of works either to receive support or provide support, as the case may be, integrate his knowledge himself with the one from other disciplines, building Team work.

    Comply will all training requirements of the Company and apply the knowledge obtained on the day to day activities performed.

    Required Skills

    Competent troubleshooting skills for rotating and static equipment applications

    Competent ability to read, understand and design mechanical drawings and P&IDs, mechanical blue prints, technical manuals and catalogs form OEM and suppliers.

    Team player and capable to establish good interpersonal relationships with other workers within his group and with persons of other organizations within the company, capable of working effectively in challenging situations.

    Required Experience

    l

    Technical degree or NVQ Level 3 in Oil & Gas Plant or equivalent as a minimum

    Seven years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance in petrochemical, LNG or oil and gas industry.

    Rotating equipment experience. Experience in Gas turbine maintenance is a plus
