    Job Summary:

    Mia’s Table is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will support the General Manager in daily operations while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our patrons. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in service, quality, and the overall restaurant success.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist in the management of day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

    Supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff, and provide feedback to improve performance.

    Step in for the General Manager in their absence, making key decisions and overseeing the restaurant's operations.

    Help manage inventory levels and orders supplies as needed, while controlling operational costs and promote efficiency.

    Implement policies and protocols that maintain future restaurant operations at the highest standard of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

    Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure guests leave with a positive dining experience.

    Assist with the scheduling of staff shifts and manage payroll-related tasks.

    Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure all areas meet health and safety requirements.

    Analyze sales and revenue reports, and make recommendations for improvements or promotions.

    Foster a collaborative and energetic environment among staff that promotes a culture of outstanding food, service, and teamwork.

    Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure the quality of food is up to standard and that presentation is consistent.

    Engage in community events and marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and build a strong local presence.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.

    Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a team.

    Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

    Knowledge of best practices for food safety and hygiene.

    Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

    Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus.
