    Job Description

    The MARKETING SPECIALIST, AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT, as part of our Audience Development and Marketing team, is a key stakeholder in campaign reporting for our clients. This role works across internal CRMs, Email Service Providers (ESPs), and marketing automation tools to develop reporting around user behavior metrics. They will be highly organized, self-motivated and efficient individuals with an excellent interpersonal manner, proficient time management, and proven ability to provide excellent customer service alongside the everyday responsibilities of the traditional operations role.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Campaign Reporting and Database Management (35%):

    • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaigns and web metrics.
    • Maintenance and coordination of campaign reporting and client queries relating to them.
    • Understanding & implementation of operational sponsorship deliverables and co-operation with the team where necessary.
    • Develop a deep understanding of CRM databases, email service providers and lead generation.  This includes list matching, database queries and cleansing.

    Analysis & Other (30%):

    • Ad hoc analyses to monitor database health, community engagement and optimization opportunities.
    • Monitors Lead Generation promotional calendar and reviews monthly metrics.
    • Perform ad hoc project as needed.
    • Attend trainings and conferences as needed.

    Strategy (20%):

    • Develops and executes strategies for custom programs on all assigned channels.
    • Tracks list segmentation and overlap percentages for all assigned channels.
    • Works to improve campaign automation for triggered CPL programs.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience in marketing, data retrieval, complex reporting or department operations support.
    • The candidate must have advanced Excel skills and an ability to learn new operating systems as required.
    • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools preferred. Experience working with Microsoft Access is a bonus.
    • Good interpersonal skills required to interact effectively.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, demonstrated communication skills (both oral and written), and the ability to track and direct a number of properties in totally different fields.
