This position works directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute social media marketing campaigns for MKR Media Lab clients by creating and managing engaging content to grow online communities. This is a part-time paid internship. Some Things You'll Be Doing: Work with MKR Media social strategists to plan content for MKR Media's clients. Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web) Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Help organize marketing events Stay abreast of trends and conversations happening on social media and assist in adapting them for social media. Assist in writing copy and post planning, under clear guidance. Perform market analysis and research on the competition Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Some Things You Need To Have: Strong attention to detail with well-honed organizational skills. Keen eye for grammar and spelling. Ability to multi-task and manage own time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Eagerness and willingness to learn many different skills. Solid understanding of different marketing techniques Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, Wordpress, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, and Google Adwords) Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices Current enrollment in a sales, marketing, or communication degree
