    Currently, RG is looking to build a candidate pool of Management Consultants to support our Defense, Federal, and commercial customers. Candidates may not be contacted until a need arises.  These roles will be critical in helping customers achieve their strategic outcomes from enterprise transformation and systems modernization by providing expert advice, business analysis, project leadership and compelling insight as part of an engagement team.  

    A DAY IN THE LIFE:

    To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and insight in understanding, defining, and communicating customer solutions while leading a team to achieve the desired strategic goals and business objectives.

    As a Management Consultant, you will be working directly with customers and your engagement team to shape and delivering industry-leading solutions to complex business and operational challenges. In addition to applying your own expertise, you will foster a collaborative environment across customers and team members to capture ideas, explore options, and refine a solution and plan for execution.

    • Lead customer engagements, working closely with customers, peers, and team members to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved to time, budget and quality
    • Apply analytical and business modeling techniques to establishing a strong foundation of understanding of the customers strategic, business and technical objectives and requirements
    • Formulate a solution and roadmap to achieve the customers goals, gaining buy-in from senior stakeholders and ensuring that risks, assumptions, and milestones are understood
    • Act as a senior subject expert in support of other engagements, business development, and thought leadership activities, including contributing to proposals and customer presentations
    • Demonstrate strong writing, presentation, and communications skills in the production of high-quality work products such as strategy documents, roadmaps, program and project plans, business analysis deliverables, white papers, and presentations or talks at conferences and events

    HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

    RG’s Management Consultants are expected to be confident leaders with a broad background in project and systems delivery including program and project management, business analysis, enterprise architecture, systems delivery, and organizational change. They are expected to have deep expertise in at least one area, and able to demonstrate competency in several of the other domains.

    The Management Consultant leads activities through the full opportunity and project lifecycle, from initial conversations with potential customers through proposals to project delivery and close-out. In addition to their personal expertise, a Management Consultant is responsible for working collaboratively with their peers to define compelling solutions and lead teams to ensure execution at the highest level of quality and professionalism.

    Management Consultants are expected to be accomplished professionals with a proven history of demonstrating personal initiative and leadership, problem solving, effective communications, and coaching and mentoring. They are highly proficient at both written and personal presentation, able to condense and communicate research material into a concise, compelling form which aids customers in making well-informed decisions.

    In addition to your specific assignment, you will also seek opportunities to add and extend value delivered to customers, including preparing and contributing thought leadership to RG’s body of knowledge and published collateral. Your expertise may also be drawn upon to assist in responding to proposals, including acting as a solution lead or subject matter expert for both written and oral presentations.  You may also be asked to represent RG at industry/association events.

    Required Skills

    A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions.  They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

    Required Experience

    To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

    • 5+ YEARS IN MANAGEMENT CONSULTING IN EQUIVALENT ROLES
    • 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ONE OF THE BELOW AREAS:
      • PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
      • ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE
      • BUSINESS SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE
      • BUSINESS ANALYSIS
      • BUSINESS PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING
      • SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION
      • ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT
      • AGILE DELIVERY MANAGEMENT
    • 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AT LEAST 2 ADDITIONAL ABOVE DOMAINS, OR EQUIVALENT
    • BACHELORS’ DEGREE IN BUSINESS, SCIENCES, OR TECHNOLOGY
    • TOP SECRET CLEARANCE OR ABILITY TO OBTAIN (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)

    • EXPERIENCE WITH ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP), PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT (PLM), OR RELATED COMPLEX INFORMATION MODELING TECHNOLOGIES
    • PAST PERFORMANCE WORKING ON MAJOR GOVERNMENT IT PROGRAMS, ESPECIALLY IN PROGRAM MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGER, ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT, DATA ARCHITECT OR OTHER SENIOR DELIVERY ROLES
    • ABILITY TO TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE US
