JOB SUMMARY

Interns will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company’s main office and customer support center. The position requires significant engagement with our laboratory, patient, clinic and client questions; seeing each call as an opportunity to provide support and education on the unparalleled benefit of using MicroGenDX to improve overall patient diagnostic results. Based on experience and background, interns will engage in analysis and research projects and other areas of growth within the company. This position seeks someone passionate about the field with the ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and for a company seeing significant growth.

Desired KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

·       Medical terminology.

·       Strong analytical and research skills.

·       Ability to be responsive to ever-changing matrix of clinic/center needs and act accordingly.  

·       Ability to use discretion when discussing personnel/patient related issues that are confidential in nature.

·       HIPAA certification, can be obtained upon hire.   

·       Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 

·       Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word and Excel.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·       Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field
