    Reporting and working directly with the Engineering Management Staff, this new role due to company growth will support a variety of business and operational support needs which include Administrative Support and work within a variety of database applications to ensure all department employees follow the company’s policies and processes. The position requires a professional individual with a high standard of quality and efficiency. This position will require the candidate to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pro-actively manage and complete their tasks by engaging with staff and various departments. The candidate will be required to think critically and solve problems in a self-sufficient manner with support provided as needed.

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Schedule and organize professional meetings, luncheons, and all-hands meetings
    • Schedule travel itineraries and organize employee business expense reports
    • Maintain organizational charts, training records, and emergency contact information
    • Perform property custodian duties with Maximo (training will be provided)
    • Distribute department communications, including drafting emails, letters and documents, responding to emails and interfacing with 8 managers and 100 employees
    • Help coordinate daily and weekly reports from the team.
    • Work with facility cleaning staff to ensure office areas are maintained
    • Prepare office space areas ready for new employees
    • Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; order more supplies as needed
    • Photocopies, folds and prepares print materials.

     

    Required Skills

    • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
    • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements.

    Required Experience

    • AA degree preferred
    • 5 years of related work experience
    • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. naturalization
