Job Description:

I’m reaching out regarding a Microbiology Section Lab Supervisor / Clinical Laboratory Scientist opportunity in the Modesto/Turlock, CA area with a full-time onsite schedule.

The position is ideal for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with strong clinical microbiology experience, laboratory operations knowledge, quality control/quality assurance experience, and leadership capabilities.

Key Skills & Experience:

Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License – required

Strong Clinical Microbiology laboratory experience

Clinical/hospital laboratory experience

Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)

CAP and CLIA regulatory compliance

Clinical laboratory procedures and instrumentation

Instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Specimen handling and processing

Laboratory supervision/leadership experience

ASCP certification/registry is preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related field
