Microsoft Project Manager

As a Microsoft Project Manager, you will lead and deliver technology and process transformation initiatives across Microsoft-centric environments. Success in this role is defined by clearly scoped projects, aligned stakeholders, proactive risk management, and reliable delivery that improves collaboration, security, and operational outcomes.
What You’ll Do
• Plan and manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, milestones, and resources
• Lead technology and process transformation initiatives aligned to business and operational outcomes
• Coordinate cross-functional technical and business stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 adoption, migration, and modernization projects
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation using Microsoft collaboration tools
• Provide clear status reporting, action tracking, and escalation management
• Facilitate project ceremonies including kickoffs, working sessions, and executive reviews
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Support rollout, adoption, and change management activities
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 8–12 years of total professional experience with at least 5 years as a Project Manager
• Experience leading technology and/or process transformation initiatives
• Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through delivery
• Strong stakeholder coordination and executive communication skills
• Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Comfort working in Microsoft 365–centric environments
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an Agency Public Trust clearance

• Project Management Professional (PMP®)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®)
• SAFe® Agilist (SA) or SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
• Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Experience with technology modernization or organizational change initiatives
Work Model
Hybrid role with some travel to Danville, Virginia as needed.
Home base will be RightSeat.AI HQ in Ashburn, Virginia and/or remote after 90 days.
