Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise collaboration/voice technologies with at least 2+ years in Microsoft Teams deployments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft Teams (Collaboration & Phone System)
- Direct Routing / Operator Connect
- Teams Rooms (MTR) and device management
- Microsoft 365 admin center & Teams admin center
- Familiarity with SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle, Cisco CUBE).
- Understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, SBC interworking).
- Experience with Azure AD, identity integration, hybrid Exchange, and security compliance policies.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and client-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Teams collaboration and voice solutions, including planning, design, configuration, integration, testing, and cutover.
- Assess existing UCC/voice environments and define migration strategies to Teams (Skype for Business, Cisco, Avaya, or legacy PBX systems).
- Configure and manage:
- Teams Phone System
- Direct Routing / Operator Connect
- Teams Rooms (MTR)
- Meeting policies, voice routing, and call queues
- Integrate Teams with PSTN providers, SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle), and on-premises PBXs.
- Configure Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure AD, Conditional Access, SSO, and Directory Synchronization.
- Perform user migrations, number porting, device provisioning, and adoption enablement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Teams voice, conferencing, federation, and integrations.
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on Microsoft roadmap, Teams updates, and best practices for collaboration and voice.
