ACI Health Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. This individual will play a key role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to a strong internal control environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and monthly financial statements

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits

• Work with cross-functional teams to support financial decisions

• Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables and formulas)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in healthcare or government contracting is a plus
