The Opportunity
Are you passionate about the intersection of healthcare, privacy, and emerging tech? Our fast-growing, top-ranked Privacy & Cybersecurity team is looking for a mid-level associate (4–7 years experience) who can hit the ground running advising the world’s most exciting clients in AI, biotech, health tech, crypto, gaming, and more.

This isn’t just another privacy job. You’ll be advising tech-forward companies on everything from HIPAA to GDPR, drafting policies, negotiating data processing agreements, and helping shape the future of how data is handled globally .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Counseling companies as they build innovative health and consumer products

• Drafting and updating privacy notices, policies, procedures, and consents

• Guiding clients through HIPAA, CMIA, My Health My Data Act, and other healthcare privacy laws

• Advising on federal and state privacy laws (CCPA, GLBA, COPPA, FCRA, FTC Act)

• Interpreting global privacy frameworks (GDPR, etc.)

• Working with legal teams on adtech (a plus!)

• Supporting incident response and regulatory communications

• Helping tech companies understand their data flows (bonus points if you speak “API”)

You Might Be a Fit If You Have:
4–7 years of relevant experience in privacy law and/or digital health
Solid foundation in HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and related privacy regimes
Experience with DPAs, BAAs, and privacy-related contract negotiations
A knack for explaining complex legal issues in simple terms
Bar membership in CA, DC, or NY — or eligibility to waive in

Bonus if you bring:

• Experience with privacy risk assessments and compliance audits

• Insight into consumer tech, healthcare products, or life sciences

• Familiarity with the latest in adtech, digital marketing, and tracking tech

Compensation Range:
Base: $309,000 – $447,000

• Discretionary bonus
