    Position Summary: The Mid-Level Project Manager will have 5+ years of project management experience leading, planning, and executing across multiple concurrent efforts. This role is 100% remote with approximate 10-15% travel to customer sites. This role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project to build and manage detailed schedules, baselines, dependencies, and critical path forecasting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strong in written and verbal communication, and comfortable coordinating delivery across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Planning & Scheduling (Microsoft Project)

    Own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project (WBS, dependencies, constraints, milestones, critical path).

    Establish and maintain baselines, track variances, manage change impacts, and publish schedule forecasts.

    Apply advanced MS Project features such as custom fields, calendars, resource loading/leveling, filters/views, and reporting outputs.

    Maintain and communicate schedule health, risks, and delivery impacts to leadership and stakeholders.

    Project Execution & Delivery Management

    Lead day-to-day project execution: scope, schedule, resourcing, risks/issues, actions, decisions, and deliverables.

    Facilitate recurring operating rhythms (standups, weekly status, risk reviews, stakeholder readouts).

    Drive accountability across contributors, vendors, and internal teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

    Partner with technical leads to translate work into sequenced plans with clear acceptance criteria and dependencies.

    Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

    Produce clear, executive-ready status reporting: accomplishments, upcoming work, blockers, risks, and mitigation plans.

    Ensure meeting notes, action items, decision logs, and project artifacts are documented and accessible.

    Coordinate approvals, reviews, and customer-facing deliverables.

    Governance, Process, and Quality

    Apply DST’s delivery standards (PMO processes, templates, QA gates, documentation expectations).

    Maintain strong controls over scope changes, including impacts to schedule/cost and updated plans.

    Support compliance-driven delivery where required (contractual deliverables, audit-ready documentation, SLAs).

    Service Areas You May Support (DST-Aligned Coverage)

    Depending on assignment, projects may support one or more of the following DST service areas:

    Clinical Hardware Refresh & Installation (Tap & Go refresh, computer/printer/TV & tracker refresh, badge readers, barcode scanning hardware installs; imaging, asset tagging, workflow validation, end-user training)

    Wireless & Network Infrastructure (wireless site surveys, access point deployments, network hardware refresh; Layer 2/3 switch/router configuration, VLAN/segmentation, hospital-grade documentation)

    Monitor Mounts, Mobile Workstations, and Nurse Station Deployment (mount installs; WOW assembly/configuration/integration; ergonomic nurse station furniture deployment aligned to infection control standards)

    Clinical Casework & Cabinetry Installation (cabinet installation, nurse station optimization, OR cabinetry; anchored installs to healthcare building standards and workflow integration)

    Unified Communications & Telehealth Enablement (voice/video endpoint deployment and integration; alignment with nurse call, paging, and departmental communication workflows)

    Data Center / IDF / MDF Infrastructure Services (closet networking, wire management, structured cabling/terminations, rack reconfiguration, cooling assessments, PDU upgrades)

    Asset Lifecycle, Equipment Rounding & Infrastructure Audits (physical audits, asset tagging, closet audits, decommissioning coordination and ITAD support)

    New Construction & Large-Scale Renovation Support (hospital and hotel projects; IT/clinical equipment installs, infrastructure readiness, MDF/IDF setup, casework/mounts/nurse stations)

    Preventative Maintenance for Clinical Workstation Components (scheduled inspection/testing/service for mounts/arms, badge readers, cable management, keyboard/mouse holders, etc.)

    Required Qualifications

    5+ years of experience managing projects (IT, operations, or professional services delivery).

    Expert-level Microsoft Project experience building and managing complex schedules (dependencies, baselines, critical path).

    Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

    Strong communication skills (executive-ready writing, meeting facilitation, stakeholder alignment).

    Proven ability to work 100% remotely with distributed teams and maintain delivery momentum.

    Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Preferred Qualifications

    PMP (preferred) or CAPM; Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.

    Experience in a PMO environment with standard governance, templates, and reporting.

    Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Power BI, or equivalent.

    Experience supporting government, regulated, or compliance-heavy environments (as applicable to DST work).

    Comfort working with both Agile and Waterfall (or hybrid) delivery approaches.

    Delivery teams operate with a reliable cadence and improved accountability.

    Work Location

    100% Remote (U.S.-based). May require occasional travel depending on customer needs.
