New Gig Solutions is partnering with a growing and highly sophisticated legal practice seeking an experienced Estate & Wealth Transfer Planning Attorney to join its team in a fully remote capacity.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys highly technical estate planning work, complex trust structures, and strategic wealth transfer planning for high-net-worth clients. The role is heavily focused on drafting, implementation, and execution of advanced planning strategies rather than litigation or compliance-heavy work.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment, enjoy independent technical work, and bring strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and implement sophisticated trust and wealth transfer structures
Support advanced gifting strategies, estate freeze planning, and business succession matters
Prepare detailed planning memoranda and implementation documentation
Translate complex planning concepts into actionable implementation steps
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, advisors, CPAs, and financial professionals
Ensure accuracy, organization, and consistency throughout all planning and execution phases
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
LLM in Taxation strongly preferred or equivalent advanced experience
4–8 years of post-JD experience in tax, estate, or wealth transfer planning
Strong drafting and implementation experience required
Experience from a law firm, private client practice, or Big 4 environment welcomed
Candidates focused primarily on tax compliance work are unlikely to be a fit
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary ranging from $155,000 – $165,000 DOE
