    Job Description

    If you have a passion for agriculture and leading and developing others, a Senior Location Manager for Mid-West Fertilizer might be the perfect career for you. A Senior Location Manager's primary role is to direct all grain and agronomy operations for the locations in the Specified Area. They supervise all location managers, agronomy operations managers and elevator superintendents for the area. Along with supervising, they also guide management personnel to work with and assist the employees of the other areas when requested. Another key aspect of the Senior Location Manager Role is to manage the location managers (and in coordination with the sales and marketing manager oversees the work of the field marketers) in their area to increase product sales, increase acreage served, and provide excellent customer service to producers. Customer service is critical as they serve as point person for solving any customer complaints. It is imperative that the Senior Location Manager ensures all employees practice the company’s safety policies, provide courteous service, ensure the Mid-West Fertilizer image is properly presented, and uses innovative thinking to solve problems. In addition, they complete special projects as assigned by VP of Operations and participates with TMA on the strategic planning for grain operations assets.
