    Service Advisor - Automotive

    Overview: Are you passionate about cars and providing top-tier customer service? We’re in search of a Service Advisor to be the bridge between our valued customers and our talented technical team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring their needs are understood and met, while maintaining the reputation and standards of excellence at Midas Lake Forest.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Customer Interaction:
    • Greet customers promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Listen to customers’ descriptions of vehicle issues, asking clarifying questions as necessary.
    • Initiate repair orders (RO) with a clear, detailed description of the customer’s concern.
    1. Service Recommendation:
    • Interface with the technicians, understanding the issues diagnosed.
    • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and explain the value and benefits of each.
    • Provide accurate estimates for work, including parts and labor costs.
    1. Salesmanship:
    • Promote and sell services, products, and features available to customers.
    • Address customer objections with persuasive rebuttals and turn inquiries into appointments or sales.
    1. Appointment Management:
    • Schedule service appointments and make follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Inform customers of the progress of their vehicle and notify them promptly upon completion.
    1. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure service documentation is completed accurately for each vehicle, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
    • Handle customer payments and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and securely.
    1. Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with the latest training, service offerings, and industry developments.
    • Attend workshops and training sessions as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
    • Exceptional communication and sales skills.
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • A deep understanding of automotive services and products.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
    • Knowledge of automotive software or CRM systems is a plus.
