At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

Must be able to change oil and install tires. Work general service repair while learning how to correctly perform inspections, and perform increasingly more complicated automotive tasks. Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Technician-in-Training, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, over time including:

Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems

Tires and tire repair

Car heating and air conditioning

Steering and suspension

Belts and hoses

Radiator and engine cooling systems

Batteries, starting and charging

Steering and suspension

Brakes and brake repair

Oil changes

Check engine light

Mufflers and exhaust services

Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

Some automotive experience is preferred

Valid driver’s license

Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred also). If tools are needed, we have a tool package with payroll reimbursement to help you get started.

High School Diploma or equivalent – enrollment toward a technical degree a definite plus

Track record of high personal productivity

Ability to learn quickly and retain what is taught by more advanced technicians

Commitment to learning new skills and willingness to accept coaching/mentoring

Pay Depending on Experience

$15 hourly pay plus overtime

PLUS Performance-based Monthly bonuses on top of Hourly Pay & Overtime
