As an During-the-Day Freight Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight using a 26' DOT Box truck. This position requires individuals who are highly dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are CUSTOMER-OBSESSED.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities: ​​​​​​​

• Safely operate a 26' DOT Box Truck.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight between from a warehouse to designated businesses.
• Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Escalate and report any issues, accidents or violations to management immediately
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and walking couriers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.

Qualifications

As a Freight Driver, You’ll Need:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid NJ Driver's License
• DOT certification and a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC).
  • Note: We offer DOT certification through our partner for interested candidates.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Must successfully pass background check and drug-test.
• Experience operating a 26' DOT box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work day shifts - 10 hours long - and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Full-time availability preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
