About Us

Creative STEAM Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit K–8 learning center in Laguna Woods, CA. We offer small class sizes, project-based academics, hands-on STEAM enrichment, and a whole-child approach where every student is known, challenged, and supported.

The Role

We are hiring credentialed teachers for grades 5–8 across ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Candidates may teach one subject or multiple. Schedule is flexible at 1 to 5 days per week based on availability and fit.

Responsibilities

Design and teach engaging, project-based lessons for middle school students. Differentiate instruction to meet students academically, socially, and emotionally. Use provided curriculum outlines as a foundation while bringing your own creativity and teaching style. Track student progress and communicate warmly with families and staff.

Requirements

Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Foundational-Level Mathematics Teaching Credential or equivalent authorization for assigned grades and subjects. Classroom experience with upper elementary or middle school students preferred. Homeschool, hybrid, or alternative education experience a plus.
