We are seeking a motivated Middle school math and science teacher to play a crucial role in shaping students' mathematical and scientific understanding and future academic opportunities. As a math and science teacher, you will be required to deliver lessons that develop students' theoretical and applied mathematical an scientific skills. You will also be responsible for assigning homework, grading assignments and quizzes, and documenting students' progress.

Responsibilities:

Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.

Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.

Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.

Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.

Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.

Attending meetings with parents and staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification

2-year minimum previous experience teaching at the k-12 level

Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies Endorsement K-12 or 6-12
