    **Overview
    **Emet Classical Academy seeks an exceptional Middle and High School Mathematics Teacher who brings deep content expertise, joyful rigor, and a commitment to classical education. The ideal candidate has experience teaching across the middle and upper grades, including advanced coursework through Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB/BC, and Statistics, and can inspire students to see mathematics as a discipline rooted in logic, wonder, and problem-solving.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Teach a range of Middle and Upper School math courses, potentially including:
      • Pre-Algebra & Algebra I
      • Geometry
      • Algebra II
      • Pre-Calculus
      • AP Calculus AB/BC
      • AP Statistics
    • Develop clear, sequenced, and challenging curriculum informed by classical pedagogy.
    • Utilize a balance of conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application.
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure vertical alignment of the math sequence.
    • Provide thoughtful, timely feedback that promotes mastery and student confidence.
    • Serve as an advisor and contribute to school culture, assemblies, and community life.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required; master's or advanced coursework strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated success teaching high-level mathematics to motivated students.
    • Deep understanding of classical pedagogy or willingness to be trained in it.
    • Strong communication skills, warmth, and clarity.
