    We are the #1 Region for Midland National in the U.S., and through our unique Agent Direct contract & distribution, we help Independent Financial Advisors & Life Insurance Agents grow their knowledge, skills, and business by making Midland National their primary life insurance relationship.

    The Internal Wholesaler in the Southern California Regional Office for Midland National serves as a primary point of contact for our independent life insurance agents and financial advisors. In support of our team's efforts to deepen relationships, grow business and recruit new life insurance producers, responsibilities include helping our agents with life insurance case design & illustrations, calling out to develop new business, registering for attendance to regional workshops & training events, assisting in moving business through underwriting, training agents on our process, and supporting the Regional Office's recruiting efforts.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Maintain current and relevant knowledge of Midland National life insurance and act as an internal resource and liaison.

    Build and maintain relationships with agents and our home office partners.

    Meet with the account team to evaluate client needs and select appropriate markets.

    Provide relevant information on products, processing business, and illustration design.

    Teaching agents and financial advisors how to design cases and run illustrations.

    Manage the new business process with our agents and work with the New Business team.

    Compare and evaluate competitive quotes to win over agents and help them prepare for presentations to clients.

    Follow up on proposals and event attendees.

    Document all marketing activities in Salesforce and communicate with the team on status.

    Act in a complementary & supportive role for the Regional Sales Directors and Recruiting Manager.

    Perform other duties as requested.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Life Insurance License preferred, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire

    Maintain current knowledge of industry and market trends

    Excellent work ethic & relationship management skills

    At least five years of similar experience

    Must have strong life insurance knowledge

    Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook

    CRM system experience and technical know-how preferred

    Extremely organized

    Strong attention to detail & follow through

    Must be able to work independently, on a team, and under pressure

    Team Player & Goal Oriented

    Excellent command of spoken and written English
