Private democratic group looking to hire PA/NP to work in local community Emergency Department. Long standing group has had the hospital ED contract for 20+ years. In process of ED expansion to better serve the communities medical needs.

APP's are responsible for obtaining initial patient history and physical evaluation, ordering diagnostic studies and treatments as necessary for patient evaluation and care, documentation of patient interaction, results of any diagnostic testing and response to treatments. Discussion of patient care with ED physicians as part of a health care team.

Minimum Qualifications: Postgraduate's degree from and accredited college or university. Emergency medicine experience preferred but will evaluate new graduates on case-by-case basis. Required Certifications/Licensure: Approved South Carolina state licensing through a local medical licensing office and/or board of Medical Examiners.

Competitive pay with hourly base and RVU based incentive pay with annual retention increase, health and life insurance coverage, CME stipend, Retirement contribution, paid malpractice insurance, some fees and dues covered as well.
