Mike Agruss Law is hiring a Remote Personal Injury Paralegal. Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years of experience handling personal injury cases. Responsibilities: • Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents such as medical records, employment documents, and correspondence are accurately filed and up-to-date. • Drafting : Draft necessary legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements. • Discovery: Propound and answer written discovery. • Client and Professional Communication : Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical professionals, managing communication to ensure timely updates and information flow. • Evidence Collection and Organization : Gather and meticulously organize evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and employment documentation, to support claims. • Preparation for Hearings and Depositions : Assist in preparing for hearings and depositions by compiling relevant information, preparing exhibits, and ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are readily accessible for the attorney. Qualifications: • 2+ years of legal experience is required, preferably in a personal injury law firm. • Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. • Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) is highly preferred. • Must have great time-management skills and organizational skills. • Talented verbal communicator and writer. Compensation: $25 hourly
