We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born sales person with a desire to make a difference for small business and in people’s lives. As our newest Insurance Agent you will sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers. You will help individuals, families, and small businesses secure their tomorrows.

Mike Deehan Insurance Agency is a small Property and Casualty Insurance Agency with a "mom and pop shop" atmosphere. Mike Deehan has been working as an Insurance Agent for over 30 years. He opened his own agency in 2006. Our agency works closely with all of our clients like they are family. We pride ourselves on our personalized customer service provided by all of us in the office. We are seeking an agent who desires to work for a small close nit office, and possess the necessary skill set to provide the high level of personal customer service, and a desire to contribute to the growth of our agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Must be highly self-motivated.
• Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
• Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
