    JOB TITLE : Production Technician - Packaging

    DEPARTMENT : Operations

    DIRECT MANAGER : Production Supervisor, Packaging _HOURLY RATE:  $18 - $21. THE HOURLY RATE REPRESENTS THE ANTICIPATED LOW AND HIGH END OF THE MILE HIGH RANGE FOR THIS POSITION. ACTUAL RATES WILL VARY AND WILL BE BASED ON VARIOUS FACTORS, SUCH AS THE CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND PROFICIENCY FOR THE ROLE.     JOB FUNCTIONS :

    • Establishes and maintains strong, transparent and effective day to day working relationships between contract manufacturing partners, MHL manufacturing, facilities & maintenance, R&D, contract support, engineering, regulatory groups sales, marketing and MHL customers.
    • Ensures that MHL Production Technician Expectations are understood and followed.
    • Ensures that all packaging processes are executed to yield, quality and schedule expectations through the effective use of operating procedures, master batch procedures, MHL SOP's and MHL training documentation.
    • Operates in the MHL formulations and packaging areas while meeting safety, quality, environmental, and production requirements during assigned shift.
    • Assists with preparation of the plant and process operations for continuity with subsequent shifts as directed by packaging leadership.
    • Ensures plant and process areas comply with all safety, environmental, GMP, housekeeping, and work-practice SOPs. Works with management to identify/highlight deficiencies and adjusts to correct said items.
    • Assists with preparation of packaging areas for maintenance, tours, audits and other non-routine packaging activities.
    • Recognizes, analyzes, and escalates problems, incidents, and deviations. Contacts Lead, Supervisor or Production Manager and/or technical support for corrective action plans.
    • Ensures that real time compliance is maintained including batch record paperwork, manufacturing communication board status, shift reporting, incident reporting and all necessary CAPA assignments in their manufacturing area.
    • Inputs into plant improvement initiatives as the ‘voice of the plant floor'.
    • All other tasks as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

    • To perform this successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
    • One (1) year of manufacturing experience preferred. Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices experience a plus.
    • Results oriented approach to individual performance
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
    • The ability to follow procedures, work safely and with quality in mind is a must.
