As demand for occupational therapy at our new Kankakee clinic has increased, we are seeking a part time or full time pediatric occupational therapist to join our team at Riverside Pediatric Therapy Center! If selected, you will evaluate and treat patients with fine motor, ADL, and sensory complications from birth to 22! You will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set by complimenting your clinic work with Illinois Early Intervention as well, helping the 0-3 kiddos in their homes.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and utilize appropriate standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of sensory and fine motor disorders

Develop age appropriate treatment plans.

Establish treatment goals and implement age appropriate plans of care

Perform daily documentation, update treatment plans, and produce regular progress reports

Update patient progress to relevant parties

Research related all pediatric Occupational Therapy problems and possibly supervise a highly skilled OTA on our staff

Work with a team of dedicated therapists who do one thing: put kids first!

Qualifications:

Previous experience in pediatric Occupational Therapy is preferred, but excellent newer graduates with pediatric rotations under their belt could be considered

Must be an OTR -- no OTAs need apply at this time.

Familiarity with sensory disorders and the autistic spectrum

Ability to build rapport with patients, their families, and other caregivers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer skills for documentation

Positive and patient demeanor

Hourly Rate: $35 - $56.25
