    Milestone Therapy is seeking a Finance Director with management experience to join the team. Do you have management experience? Are you looking for a new challenge that requires mindful leadership? Do you want to be a part of a Leadership Team that is driving the direction of the company?

    We have an exciting opportunity for you to consider! (Please note: this is a local remote flexible position based out of NW Indiana.)

    As the Finance Director with Milestone Therapy, your job will be to lead and manage our Finance Department via day-to-day interactions as well as keeping an eye on the bigger picture and health of the department. We have a strong and dedicated management and staff who love what they do and require a Director who is just as passionate!

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Finance Director:

    Analyzes and reports on financial performance of the Company and required break outs of service lines, departments, or profit centers.

    Ensures compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations and requirements.

    Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

    Prepares forecasts and budgets to ensure company, service line, department, and/or profit center profitability.

    Trains and supervises finance, accounting, and billing staff personally or through subordinate supervisors.

    Provides training for company leadership as necessary to maintain appropriate levels of financial literacy.

    Develops and manages internal controls to ensure financial integrity, promote accountability, and prevent fraud.

    Maintains company financial software as necessary to perform duties.

    Develops and maintains relationships with Bankers, Investors, Owners, Stakeholders, and any other third party entities or individuals necessary to complete job duties.

    Monitors all financial activities.

    Promotes revenue growth.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Directly supervises employees in the Finance Department.

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education and Experience of Finance Director:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred OR at least five years of applicable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Prior management experience is preferred.
