    This position will support efforts with the Centers for Disease control to provide scientific leadership on measurement of vaccination coverage across the lifespan, to collect, analyze and disseminate accurate vaccination coverage data, and promote use of these data for evaluation of immunization programs and policies at the national, state, and local levels. The coverage assessment activities involve collecting and using data from national and state-based surveys conducted in-person, by telephone, or via internet-panel surveys, as well as administrative

    and other data systems, to provide coverage information across all ages and vaccines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintaining and updating interactive dashboards with surveillance data from complex surveys (e.g., the National Immunization Survey, the National Health Interview Survey, the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System).

    Providing website support, including management of website content, and working with CDC website staff to ensure proper implementation of requested website updates.

    Providing support in developing and managing plans for disseminating and reporting vaccination coverage findings through web-based applications.

    Providing support in using web applications to create interactive online reports.

    Providing support in developing, maintaining, and updating communication material related to vaccination coverage.

    Providing support in preparing research papers and reports for publication and presentation.

    Required experience, knowledge, skills and abilities as follows:

    CURRENT CDC EMPLOYMENT preferred

    MUST HAVE previous CDC employment or Active Secret Clearance

    Position at the Associate Level, requires two to three years of experience in informatics, statistics, or mathematics, with a background in Public Health.

    Systems analysis, development, and implementation using a variety of information technology resources.

    Website applications, programming, and website management.

    Web-based information dissemination.

    Experience using PowerBI, ArcViewGIS or other similar applications.

    Experience with report writing and communications.

    This is a remote position.
