Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years experience supervising in a union environment preferred.
- Pulp and Paper experience preferred.
- Strong people/team building skills, augmented by advanced capabilities with computers and applicable mill application software.
- Demonstrate capabilities of an Initiative-taker that is intrinsically motivated.
- Must demonstrate pro-active skills in problem identification and developing solutions.
- Good problem solving, organization skills, and decision making that results in performance-enhancing actions to deliver goals.
- Knowledge of SAP/Optivision systems preferred.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must be willing to work diverse hours, including a mixture of 8 and 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends.
